community survey

Thank you for your interest in the Genomedical Connection and our community survey. The Genomedical Connection is a comprehensive program involving four partners: the Moses Cone Health System (MCHS); Duke Institute for Genome Sciences & Policies (IGSP) Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and Center for Biotechnology, Genomics and Health Research (CBGHR) at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro;

Funding for this project was approved by the United States Congress. This study will help investigators understand how genomic medicine may meet the interests and needs of the community.

As part of this project, the Genomedical Connection is creating educational materials for you, your doctor and the community. To do this we need to find out what people know about topics related to genomic medicine and what they would like to learn. We will collect this information using a survey that takes 15 minutes to complete. Your answers will be kept confidential.

To complete this survey, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • and
  • not have answered these questions as part of our telephone survey or during a recent doctor's appointment.
